I'm Dan Kozlov (dkzlv).

Basically, I write about 3 things only.

First, picture this: a world where your every click isn't part of some marketer's wet dream, where 'business ethics' isn't an oxymoron, and 'privacy' isn't a relic from a bygone era. Can't do it? Neither can I. Hence, this blog, my sanctuary for lamenting the inevitable apocalypse.

Switching gears to product engineering, where half the game is not getting bogged down in the swamp of overthinking. Here, I'm all about the 80/20 rule: 80% doing, 20% planning, and 0% giving a flying fig about anything that doesn't expedite delivery. In this corner of my universe, pragmatism isn't just a philosophy; it's a religion.

As a final point, we land softly on the matters of life itself. Sure, speed and efficiency are great, but some things require a more measured pace—like family, friendships, and those quiet moments that make life rich. Here, the tempo slows, the tone softens, and we explore what it means to be human in a digital world.
